SecureNM™ Public Policy Group
Connecting New Mexico's business community with policymakers.
The SecureNM™ Public Policy Group creates ongoing, nonpartisan communication between New Mexico business and nonprofit leaders and state legislators on cybersecurity, technology, economic development, and related issues affecting commerce.
The program brings practical business experience into public policy discussions while helping members better understand legislation, regulatory developments, and opportunities to engage.
Member Participation
- Community Members participate in our annual Legislative Forum and surveys that help identify concerns, priorities, and the potential business impact of public policy.
- Professional and Enterprise Members are eligible for even more active participation through committees, member delegations, policy discussions, legislative events, and other activities.
- Sponsors and subject-matter experts can contribute practical and technical perspective within appropriate SecureNM™ programs.
Legislative Engagement
A Legislator Committee helps strengthen communication between members and state lawmakers, develop regional participation, and support educational programs on effective legislative engagement.
Activities can include legislator discussions, member training, policy forums, Roundhouse delegations, regional engagement, and programs addressing proposed or emerging legislation.
SecureNM™ does not approach public policy in isolation.
Our objective is informed, continuous communication that helps policymakers understand implementation realities while helping members understand and participate in the process.
Better communication supports better policy and cyber-safe commerce throughout New Mexico.
